This is a great company and my third purchase from them. I love the look and texture of the outside…. But the minty blue green interior is a very distracting color. I find I rarely used it just because the color when open on the desk is not background… it’s so intense I find myself rushing through my notes just so I can close the book.. I returned it sadly. There should be color options if the inside color is not a neutral tone. ***** update I purchased this item again based on all the additional photos of the black interior… NOPE! Why are they allowed to send a different product than pictured? Bright mint blue? You’ll see I won’t even open the plastic because this is going right back!I like the pockets in the inside. All in one wallet! I dont like that the side are so open allowing your personals and diary entries to be seen if desired. Other than that nive and sturdy. Still searching for something that secure my diary and belongings in a pocket book wallet. Maybe something that zipped and locked in place.I wanted to write something for this girl I like and give it to her for Valentine’s Day. It’s currently October and I’m getting pretty far. The journal is the exact size I wanted. The paper’s quality is good and there’s a lot of it despite the size of the book. The leather itself feels nice and I appreciate the little folders inside the covers. I use them for erasers and pictures I’ve drawn. The lock is easy to use and works as intended. My only gripe is the pencil holding loop. It’s a little large for one pencil so I’d recommend squeezing in a pen to keep them in place. The loop itself is only held together by glue so it’s a bit delicate. Other than that I think it’s great.A la persona a la que se la regalé le encantó.
