So wonderful to have a pre-on the spot-and post- recollection of this greatest event in the history of the Roman Catholic church. Like all authentic prophets, Congar was NOT listened to then and yet his observations are right on target. The last document of the council was GAUDIUM ET SPES. During the last and present papacy, my "gaudium" has decreased. With this book and all that's being done to remember this GREAT COUNCIL, my "spes" is getting a needed shot in the arm. Thank you Yves for your courage. You were not a prophet Jonah taking the boat to the far ends of the world. You answered the call to the modern Ninevah, ROME, though, so far that place has refused to don the sackcloth and ashes and return to the gospel rather than sticking with Caesar. I hope this book is widely read and listened to! and give MORE HOPE to MORE PEOPLE. Alexei
